Who Do I Pay To The Order Of Oregon Revenue Service

Oregon property taxes are assessed for the July 1st to June 30th fiscal year. Tax statements are sent to owners by Oct 25th each year. The beginning payment is due by November 15th.

Important Dates, Installment Options, Postmarks

Due Dates for 2021 - 2022 Revenue enhancement Payments

November 15th, Mon, 2021
February 15th, Tuesday, 2022
May 16th, Monday, 2022

Three payment options:
  • Pay in Full -Pay in full past November 15th and receive a 3% discount.
  • Pay 2/3 - Pay 2/iii by Nov 15th and receive a 2% discount.
  • Installment Payments - You may pay your property taxes in three installments.  No discounts for installment payments.

When mailing your property tax payment be advised that in accordance with ORS 305.820 and ORS 311.505, TheDeschutes County Tax Collector uses the official postmark date postage stamp from the United States Postal Service or Individual Express Carrier such as UPS or FedEx, Etc., to post your payment.  Please allow sufficient postal service time for your payment to arrive, with a postmark on or earlier the actual due date.

Pay Online with our Secure Application**

Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards, Visa debit cards and electronic checks are accepted.

  • Debit Cards: Visa and Mastercard debit cards will exist charged a flat fee of $3.95 per transaction. For all other debit cards, a convenience fee of 2.v% of the payment amount will be charged (with a minimum fee of $2).
  • Credit Cards: A convenience fee of two.5% of the payment amount volition exist charged (with a minimum fee of $ii).
  • eChecks: A convenience fee of $2 per transaction volition be charged (up to $ten,000). Anything over $10,000, a $10 stock-still fee will exist charged.

In person
Make your payment in person at 1 of the Tax Office windows at 1300 NW Wall St, Suite 203, Bend or apply a user-friendly drop box in Bend (at 1300 NW Wall Street on the Wall Street side) or in Redmond (behind City Hall at 411 SW 9th St). Cash, bank check, money lodge and major credit** and debit cards** are accustomed at the Deschutes Canton Tax Office.

Drive Through Driblet Boxes

  • Bend: Utilize our convenient drive-up drop box located at the front of our building, 1300 NW Wall Street, Bend, (enter on the Wall Street side). Wait for the white box labeled Property Tax Payments. The drib box is available 24 hours a twenty-four hour period, 7 days a calendar week.
  • Redmond: We have a new property tax drop box in Redmond, located behind Redmond City Hall! Archway on Deschutes Artery. This box is open Oct. 25 - Nov. xv, Jan. 25 - February. 15, and Apr 25 - May 16.

Via online beak pay through your bank business relationship
A split up payment should be scheduled for each taxation account using the half dozen-digit tax account number.  These payments are posted equally of the engagement the funds are received and then delight schedule accordingly. Past mail
Cash, Check and money guild, payable to "Deschutes County Tax Collector" are accepted.

Mail your payments in the envelope provided or to Deschutes County Taxation Collector, PO Box 7559, Bend OR  97708-7559. Payments must be postmarked no later than Monday, Nov. 16th, 2020 in order to be eligible for discount and to avert belatedly penalties (ORS 305.820, ORS 311.505).

Your canceled bank check is your receipt. All payments are processed upon receipt.

Mail early on to avert penalties [ORS 305.820 and ORS 311.05] If you lot are mailing your payment close to the due date and using the USPS, it is brash that you get a hand stamped postmark or receipt from the mail service office showing your payment was mailed on or before the due date.
